The rest is just logistics

Three years ago I stood on this beach looking out to distant hills and found myself thinking,

“This is where I want to be next.

And the rest is just logistics.”

That second sentence came from a fabulous life coach who had helped me in an earlier life shift. She used it to remind me that deciding where I wanted to be and what I wanted to be doing was the hard part. After that, it was simply a matter of working out how to make it happen and organizing things.

Too often we can frighten ourselves out of making an exciting move by focusing on the complexities of how we would actually do it.  Sometimes it becomes a comfort to do that rather than to face the possibility of making a dream come true.
